as a part of vision+hearing: landmarks we would like to ask you to contribute your own videos of your favorite places in portland. we would like to show the submitted videos in the main room of holocene between performances.we started a channel on vimeo.com to serve as a central point to gather these videos. please upload your videos to vimeo, tag them as ‘pdxlandmarks’ and send us a message to let us know… from there we will add them to our channel.please tell a friend. we want to see the places you love in portland.

january 2008 will bring the next installment of vision+hearing to holocene. ’landmarks’ will consist of selected musicians and filmmakers assembling performances inspired by portland landmarks. site specific recordings and collected footage will act as a jumping off point for the artists to assemble immersive audio/visual experiences for the viewers.check back soon for more details

hello all. V+H2 was a great success! everyone played fantastic sets and the visuals were wonderful. you can find some photos of the event on our flickr page… vision+hearing 2. we also made audio recordings of the pieces that were played. excerpts will be posted soon.
thanks to everyone who turned out for the show. we will keep this page updated for future events.
